January Client Feature: Meet Jen Flynn

Women have an unfair reputation of being overly competitive with one another. I have met more women that are FOR each other than any that match that stereotype. Each month, I invite you to discover and celebrate what other women are doing, get connected and support their work.

Meet Jen:

Jen Flynn is the founder and CEO of Renew Precision Health and a visionary leader in functional and integrative medicine.

Since last fall, I have partnered with Jen to bring her vision of a brand new wellness conference to life. The Living Well Expo is the first of it’s kind in the area, bringing together like-minded wellness companies for a day devoted to helping you live well: body, mind and spirit.

The Process:

Jen reached out last fall to propose an idea she already had underway, but needed someone to take lead on. This project feels so special to me because it embodies what I love most when working with people: a lack of competition and an invitation to collaboration. Jen’s vision for this conference is to have one where those in the wellness space who often hold their clients close-to-chest, open their hands together and cross-refer. The patient wins because they find a collaborative community of experts, the companies involved win because other businesses can provide what they can’t and Jen and her company win because they are now known for who they are: both experts and open-handed connectors.

Having run multiple large conferences, I already had a spreadsheet and other tools ready to go, not to mention a million ideas. I’ve worked to create systems that honor their goals, while bringing in my expertise and love of excellence in the details. Meeting multiple times a month, I’ve partnered not only with Jen but with her web team and marketing lead as we build out this brand new conference with room for 400-700 attendees. We began first connecting to communities and now are launching to attendees.

The Results:

This event now has a beautiful website and an excited group of community sponsors ready to connect both with attendees and with one another. Tickets have been launched for purchase and the growth is underway. With two incredible keynote speakers, additional local experts sharing, plus a panel discussion, we will spend the next few months refining the details of the day, continuing to promote and growing the audience.
